Project Overview

Kindred is a relationship management system designed to help executives, leaders, and busy professionals build and maintain stronger, more intentional relationships with the people in their lives.

The Problem

In today's world, we're more connected than ever digitally, but less connected meaningfully. Executives and busy professionals face unique challenges:

Too many surface-level connections, not enough depth
Difficulty tracking important details about people they meet
Missing important dates and opportunities to connect
No system for managing and growing their social circles intentionally
Relationships suffer from lack of intentionality and structure

As someone who experienced this firsthand - being introverted but craving meaningful connections - I knew there had to be a better way.

The Solution

Kindred is a relationship operating system that helps people:

1. Track Connections Intentionally

Log important details about people you meet
Remember key information shared in conversations
Track birthdays, interests, preferences
Build a "second brain" for your relationships

2. Build Stronger Circles

Organize connections by circles (work, family, friends, etc.)
See relationship health and engagement patterns
Get reminded to reach out to important people
Nurture relationships before they fade

3. Be More Present

Prepare for meetings with context about the person
Never forget important details again
Show up more thoughtfully in every interaction
Build trust through consistent attention

My Role

As Founder and Product Designer, I'm wearing multiple hats:

Product Strategy

Identified the problem from personal experience
Researched existing tools and gaps
Defined target audience (executives, leaders, connectors)
Created product vision and roadmap

Design

Self-designed the Kindred logo and brand identity
Designed user experience and interface
Created systems for relationship tracking and management
Focused on simplicity and intentionality

Systems Architecture

Designed the relationship management framework
Built systems thinking approach to connections
Created data models for relationship tracking
Planned features and functionality

Target Audience

Kindred is built for:

Executives who need to manage many relationships professionally
Entrepreneurs building networks and partnerships
Community leaders managing large social circles
Introverts who want to be social on their own terms
Anyone who values meaningful connection over surface-level networking

Key Insights

Relationships Are Systems

Just like products and businesses, relationships can be designed, managed, and improved with the right systems and intentionality.

Introverts Need Tools

As an introvert, I learned that I can be highly social when I have:

Mental preparation before interactions
Systems to track and manage connections
Control over when and how I engage
Tools that make connection less exhausting

Quality Over Quantity

The goal isn't to manage thousands of connections - it's to deepen the ones that matter most.

What's Next

Kindred is currently in development with plans to:

Launch MVP for beta users
Validate relationship management frameworks
Build for iOS and Android
Integrate with existing tools (contacts, calendar, etc.)
Scale to help executives worldwide build better relationships
